Features of Corrosion Fatigue Cracks Detection in Rail Foot

Developing of models of corrosion fatigue cracks in foot of rail is experimentally investigated. It was obtained that sensitivity to small crack models increases with reduction of probe angle from 45° to 38°. Changes in probe angle and direction diagram, measured on side straight-hole on the depth of 135 mm in rail web, were recorded.
