A lot of hydraulic engineering constructions were built in XIX – XX centuries; on all accounts they may be considered as cultural heritage objects. For restoration and reconstruction purposes their actual condition should be thoroughly analyzed and the decision on reconstruction work methods and volume should be made with regard to object’s condition and historical value. A short retrospection of modern technologies applied for examination of several objects is given in the article. The possibilities of geo-radiolocation, seismic-acoustic and ultrasound probing are considered. The reasonability of integrated application of the methods is emphasized.
