Ultrasonic Laser Interferometry for High-Temperature Steel Microdamages Investigation

Doppler laser interferometer was applied for acquisition and analysis of spatial distributions of acoustic fields and acoustic noises over the surface of 12Õ1ÌÔ steel samples with different microdamages. Different methods of digital data processing were applied to acquire useful information in the presence of background noise. Correlation was detected between different parameters and ultrasonic fields at presence of microdefects of different types.
