Innovative Application of Visual and Instrumental Testing and Optical Inspection for Complex Diagnostics of Infrastructure Facilities for Railway Transport

The main purpose of the paper lies in the investigation of possible application of new methods and technologies with regard to the engineering status monitoring of the infrastructure objects. Consideration was given to characteristics and performance of “SVOD-2” and “Gabaritomer” high-speed systems installed on various detachable and mobile devices produced by AO “Firma TVEMA”. Possibility of a complex analysis of the monitoring results was revealed to estimate the infrastructure state by referring to its current state, and on the basis of the above managerial solutions ensuring train movements safety can be found.
