Acoustic Inspection Methods of Turbine Blades of Gas-Turbine Engines
Application technique of ultrasonic inspection technologies in process of aircraft engine PS-90A manufacturing. The possibility of single crystal gas-turbine blades inspection with contact laser ultrasonic evaluation (CLUE) and high frequency scanning acoustic microscopy. Ultrasonic testing with the use of phased arrays with piezoelectric transducers allowed revealing the real of a crack type, 0.5 mm in size.
