The Sensitivity Adjustment in Accordance With the DGS-Diagram When Using the Sensitivity Time Control

Sensitivity adjustment in ultrasonic inspection of thick work-pieces may cause several difficulties. Difficulties emerge when sensitivity time control is needed to be used and the sensitivity adjustment is implemented in accordance with the DGS-diagram. Sensitivity adjustment methodology is described and experimental validation of its accuracy is given.
