High efficiency of GPR method use for the detection and evaluation of geometrical parameters of defects of hydrolic engineering structures, namely cleavage of bottom soil from reinforced concrete structures is described, in terms of the results of GPR inspection of concrete support blocks of upstream slopes of ground dam of hydroelectric power station in Nizhny Novgorod and reinforced concrete walls of lock chamber of the channel between White See and Onega Lake.
