Inspection of Steel Wire Ropes and Steel Cords of Rubber Steel Belts in Mining Industry

NDT technologies for inspection of steel wire ropes and steel cords of rubber steel belts in mining industry are analyzed. Different techniques of flaw detector calibration and some results of inspection quantitative estimations are discussed.
