Economical Efficiency of Steel Rope Inspection

Economical aspect of steel rope NDT is discussed. Money loss as a consequence of steel rope breaking at different objects exceeds cost of the rope flaw detector purchases. Real example of saving money due to the INTROS rope flaw detector use at Norilsk Nickel Mining Co. is given.
