Monitoring System for Complete Diagnostics of High Risk Industrial Structures

V. G. Kharebov, Yu. P. Borodin, V. A. Shaporev

Complete monitoring as a system of continuous supervision over the integrity of the object is one of the modern solutions to the problem of safety operation assurance and accidence risk reduction. Main principles of construction of such systems, considering design features of objects, operation conditions, kinds of possible damages and malfunctions and characteristics of NDT methods suitable for their timely detection are given. It is noted, that decision-making process regarding further operating procedure should be carried out on the basis of the cumulative analysis of the data received from primary transducers installed on object.
