Acoustic Tensometry as a Supplement to UD4-T HU-01

The main formulas of linear theory of acoustoelasticity, that makes it possible to use it in engineering practice of acoustic tensometry within error ε ≤ 10–2 %, are given. The initial data determination procedure is discussed. Technique (calculation formulas), adjustment and strain measurement in treaded components, when demountable joints assembling, with the use of multi-purpose ultrasonic device UD4-T HU-01 in the «Acoustical tensometer» mode are discussed.
