Reliability Creation of Automated Ultrasonic Inspection in the Welded Pipes Manufacture

Design concepts of automated ultrasonic inspection of welded pipes are given. The structure and peculiarities of acoustic systems and apparatus of new NDT installations on the basis of the universal computer system that ensure reliability of inspection process, are described. The means of reliability improvement of welds automated tracking by means of minimization of instability of incident angle of ultrasonic wave are described.
